The Chevrolet Advance Design is a series of trucks manufactured by Chevrolet from 1947 to 1955. It was their first major redesign of truck after World War II with a sleeker design compared to the previous AK series of trucks. It was available in a number of different formats, such as pickup truck, cab over engine, station wagon and even SUV in the form of the Chevrolet Suburban. A highly successful design, Chevrolet trucks were the best selling trucks in the United States in all the years it was sold.
